Today I discovered a river right next to a training venue I've worked at dozens of times. You know how it is - you know your route in & your route out and that's about it.
I finally looked at an OS map for the area & discovered a gorgeous walk along the Ribble & a bit of a boggy yomp up a hill - but it's not a proper hike without a bit of mud, is it?
